There were 52 entries for the Millsboro Art League's New Members Social and Exhibition held at the MAL gallery on August 3, 2008. "Peoples Choice" awards were given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and (3) Honorable mentions. Awards were as follows:
1st Place.... Sara Gallagher for Watercolor titled "Hydrangeas & Magnolias"
2nd Place....Gina Argyrou for Mossaic/Glass titled "Summer Opal Table"
3rd Place....Darla Hilton for Acrylic titled "Brilliant Day"
Honorable Mention...Peter Sheahan for Photography titled "Fireworks at Perdue Stadium"
Honorable Mention...James R. Williams for Oil/Pastel titled "Metamorphosis"
Honorable Mention....Tonia Welch for Photography titled "Morning Light"
