For the past fifty years Bill has been actively involved in the arts. At the tender age of eight, he began his career in art by painting a portrait of Abraham Lincoln. Since then, he has spent a lifetime dedicated to improving his artistic talents.  Bill has received formal training from Rowan University, University of the Arts and Nelson Shank’s Studio Incamminati. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Art Education and a  Masters Degree in Teaching. He loves to impart knowledge to others, especially when they have that "Aha Moment" and realize "I get this". During his tenure, he has mentored many students and adults who have become art educators, full time artists, and hobbyists in oil painting.

Throughout his career, Bill has received numerous awards and commissions for his work. It is not unusual to see him throughout Sussex County with his camera and paint brushes in hand, scouting out his next artistic endeavor.

Dorothy's Website

Dorothy Harrison Braun,
an award winning artist and resident of Bethany Beach is an avid painter of our local landscape, architecture,waterfowl, as well as portraits and still life. Her interpretations, as a result of the use of transparent watercolors, convey a vibrant and luminous quality. Her style can be described as realistic but painterly.

Dorothy is a self taught artist and has been honing her craft for more than 35 years and has shared her knowledge with serious students in her home studio for more than 15 years. She is a Signature member of the Delaware Watercolor Society, and is a member of the Bethany Beach watercolor Society, Rehoboth Art League, The Art League of Ocean City as well as the Millsboro Art League.

A reception will be held Saturday, February 11 from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Light refreshments will be served.
